# roadmap

*Shipped in deliberate phases.*

Lacuna ships in phases, each usable on its own and building toward fully decentralised, cross-chain private money.

*Fig. 12 — The phased path. Each phase preserves the guarantees of the last; nothing later weakens privacy or self-custody.*

* **Phase 1 — Mainnet.** Shielded transfers, shield / unshield (0.2%), EmergencyExit, gasless withdrawals via a team relayer.
* **Phase 2.** Private swaps, Proof of Innocence, a decentralised relayer registry, and staking & slashing.
* **Phase 3.** Private bridging and x402 agent settlement.
* **Phase 4.** More chains (Solana, Bitcoin) and on-chain governance.

Phase 1 brings the core protocol to mainnet. Subsequent phases add private swaps and a decentralised relayer network, then private bridging and agent settlement, and finally expansion to further chains and on-chain governance. Timelines follow readiness and audit results rather than fixed dates.
